Sibirian larch

General:

The larch is a mountain tree, but has been planted in the lowland for 300 years. The Sibirian Larch can be found in Russia, where as in Europe the European Larch is more common. The Sibirian Larch has a higher density, is small branched and has less resin pockets compared to the European Larch.

Characteristics:

The wood of the Siberian Larch is hard and durable and is very weatherproof due to his high resin concentration. It is a great construction timber and is suitable in the outdoor area e.g. for garden fences, wooden fronts, terrace floors, wind protection, etc. But it can be used also for floors or other purposes in the interior.

Density: ca. 600kg/ m³
