This panel is part of the flat pressed boards. It is produced out of large, thin, synthetic resin-soaked wood chips. The orientation of the chips raises the static bending strength along the request direction.
The core layer is laid 90° across the regular orientation. The result is a higher static bending strength as normal flat pressed boards.
Attributes/characteristics
- unique image in case of the wood chips
- higher static bending strength as chipboards
- chip length: approx. 60 – 90 mm, chip width: approx 5 – 25 mm, chip thickness: approx. 0,6 mm
Field of application Usual, the OSB gets used in the building industry as structural panel, for interior constructions, furniture, as shuttering panel and packaging. It also can build a roof- or wall planking.
Assumptions - produces according EN 300
- maximum content of formaldehyde: 0,1 ml/m3
